These players are being retained in the IPL 2022

According to a report by ESPN Cricinfo, 7 out of 8 IPL teams have retained some of their players. According to reports, Punjab has not retained any of its players in the team.

The franchise has prepared Megha Action with a total of Rs 900 million. Cricinfo has also made public the list of players to be retained. Among them are star players like Dhoni, Kohli, and Williamson.

  • Chennai Super Kings: Ravindra Jadeja, Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Rituraj Gaikwad, Moin Ali
  • Kolkata Knight Riders: Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Varun Chakraborty, Bankatesh Iyer
  • Sunrisers Hyderabad: Ken Williamson
  • Mumbai Indians: Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah
  • Royal Challengers Bangalore: Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell
  • Delhi Capitals: Rishabh Pant, Prithvi Shah, Akshar Patel, Enrique Nortya
  • Rajasthan Royals: Sanju Samson However, no franchise has officially opened its mouth about Retain yet.

Today is the last day of the retention process in next year’s Indian Premier League (IPL). Today, all franchises will have to submit their player list. The first mega action is about to take place in IPL 2022.

This time with the addition of two new teams, Megha Action is about to take place. Each team will be able to retain a total of 4 players. The cost of retaining four players will be Rs 420 million. Axon will have Rs 900 million in a team’s purse.

The teams already in the IPL will have to submit the names of the four players to be retained today. The rest of the players will have to bid from Megha Axon. New teams Lucknow and Ahmedabad will be able to sign three players each before December 1 to 25.
