Capital: On the same day, a fire broke in two places in Kathmandu had causing a loss of about 60 million rupees. The fires at Mulpani in Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-7 and Indreni Foodland in New Baneshwor have caused a loss of about Rs 60 million.
On Monday morning, the fire broke out at Yuvaraj KC’s paint shop at Mulpani People’s Boat. According to DSP Dundi Raj Neupane of the Metropolitan Police Circle Boudha, more than 40 million colours were destroyed in the fire. The fire was brought under control with the help of police, fire brigade, and locals. Police are conducting further investigation into the incident.
The fire broke out at the gym centre of Indreni Complex in New Baneshwor at around 3 pm on Monday. According to the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwor, the fire has caused a loss of more than Rs 20 million. Preliminary investigations suggest the fire may have been caused by an electrical short.

A Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army, and fire brigade team rushed to the spot to control the fire. According to the police, the fire brigade of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur districts reached the spot on time and managed to control the fire within an hour. DSP Min Bahadur Lama of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor, said that the initial investigation showed that the inverter had caught fire.
